French artist Okay Cactus has released his newest single, ‘Nebula’, his first release since his debut album, The Shades And The Games, in 2021.
Teaming up with long-time collaborator Phario, ‘Nebula’ is a playful, spacey, pop track, drawing in elements of funk and dance to craft a catchy tune about falling in love. ‘Nebula’ sparkles with gorgeous synths and soft beats, with short colourful bursts of guitar gently cutting through the glossy melody.
With the production of the track developed as a homage to Daft Punk’s Discovery album, ‘Nebula’ was created from an old demo, and evolved over the space of a year.
