Hull-based band Fever have released their newest single, ‘Long Ago’, ahead of their tour supporting The Clause this month.
Exploring complex emotions of overcoming trauma, ‘Long Ago’, is lyrically raw and musically anthemic, with driving guitars propelling the track through a journey of pain into healing. With a standout, powerful chorus the track encapsulates the catharsis of moving on, loud and unrelenting against a backdrop of steely drums and a stirring melody.
The group, made up of James Harrod (lead singer), Joe Gray (drums), Mitch Capes (guitar), Sam Howell (keys) and Ellis Keogh (bass) got together in 2019, releasing their first single, ‘Jungle Man’.
Fever are set to head on tour with Birmingham band The Clause next week, starting in Liverpool.
