Fever release new single, ‘International Dream’

Hull-based band Fever are back with their newest single, ‘International Dream’.

Following on from September’s release of ‘Honesty’, the group’s latest single expands upon their blazing, indie rock meets classic rock sound; combining fun, Beatles-esque vocal hooks, with firing guitar riffs reminiscent of the Arctic Monkeys and Blossoms.

Speaking about ‘International Dream’, lead vocalist, James Harrod, described the track as “a song about trying to convince someone that they don’t need to conform and follow the crowd like everyone else, but simply stay true to themselves,” going on to say:

“In the age of overly glamourised social media, it’s easy to think that we need to try portray ourselves as someone or something else, in order to impress other people. When in actual fact we don’t, as ultimately none of that materialism really matters.”

Fever released their debut single, ‘Jungle Man’, back in 2019, and have since gone on to tour with Blossoms, and perform their own headline shows in their hometown of Hull.
