Leeds-based independent artist, WAX WORKS, has unveiled his debut single, ‘sleeping in the dark’ – featuring fellow Leeds artist, Mollie Coddled.
A twinkling indie pop track, ‘sleeping in the dark’ takes inspiration from the likes of Arlo Parks and Easy Life, producing a reverb-fuelled tune with a dreamy vocal arrangement.
Taking on a classic bedroom pop sound, the track’s self produced, DIY nature only adds to its charm; as echoing guitar riffs sway against soft beats, absorbed within intricate melodies.
An eye-catching statement of a debut single – the new release is just the first of a string of singles set to be released throughout 2021.
