‘Better Off’ is the newest release from Sunderland group, Listomania.
Set as the follow up to earlier released single, ‘Look Both Ways’, the band explained “we wanted to release something that sonically contrasts that track, so whilst ‘Look Both Ways’ is more of a steady paced rock ballad, ‘Better Off’ is an in your face, aggressive crowd pleaser with hints of calmness throughout”.
Veering between heavy choruses and hushed instrumental breaks; ‘Better Off’ loads clouded emotion into screaming riffs and charging vocals. It’s slightly grittier than its predecessor, but just as anthemic, with Listomania saying “we were able to spend a lot of time really crafting the sound we wanted on this track.”
