‘Phase’ is the latest single, from Aforest, an English electronic duo comprised of Ben Imber and Jack Shuter
Beginning with a subtle acoustic intro, Phase softly breezes into a misty blend of dark synths, hazy hooks, and quiet bass tones. Discussing the track, the duo say it’s “reflective of the harder times you can find yourself in when trying to find work-life balance”, with lyricism surrounding trying to get through to the other side.
The new single is the band’s third release of 2020, after debuting their first EP earlier this year.
