Australian artist, Hauskey, has released his latest single, ‘Somewhere’.
Exploring lo-fi beats and shiny melodies, ‘Somewhere’ combines catchy chorus hooks with hazy vocal tones and bright keys, doused with rippling synths and colourful production.
Discussing the meaning behind the track, Hauskey spoke of how ‘Somewhere’ was written as an escape during lockdown, saying, “it’s a short retreat, in a long year”.
The new release is the follow up to his debut single, ‘Slow’, which was released earlier in the year, and has since gained over one million streams.
