Chicago-based trio, Capital Soirée, have released their latest single, ‘Side of Town’.
Encased in a dreamy pop sound, ‘Side of Town’ breezes through hazy vocal tones and streams of vivid guitar riffs, bouncing between danceable verse hooks and high-energy choruses. Discussing the track, the band stated the lyrics surround “leading with impulse to a fault, and always being there even when you know you shouldn’t.”
Recorded, produced, and mixed entirely by the trio, the song is the band’s first single release since the debut of their ‘Being Lonely’ EP earlier this year.
