London-based group, Phantom Isle, have released their latest single, ‘Mar V’.
Featuring driving vocals and surging guitars, ‘Mar V’ erupts into in sequence of gloomy rhythms and energised synth hooks, drifting between subtlety and danceability. Lyrically, the track explores darker topics of anxiety and loneliness, unearthing a murkier contrast to the upbeat instrumental fills.
‘Mar V’ is Phantom Isle’s second single of 2020, after they released ‘I Am Urs’ earlier in the year.
