American artist Sam Wright has released his newest, surf rock-esque single, ‘Where’d You Go’.
The breezy surf rock track track mixes lo-fi production with mellow vocals, emitting a warm, nostalgic feel. Speaking about the pensive lyricism of the track, Wright stated, “The track was inspired by a past relationship I had in college. Made me think of this girl I used to be with. How we were super close at one point but have completely lost touch. It’s kind of a letter to her.”
‘Where’d You Go’ is Wright’s first release of 2020, after releasing his ‘Beach Brawl’ EP last year.
