New Releases Track Reviews

Pabst release high-octane new single, ‘Skyline’

The track was released earlier this month.

Berlin-based trio Pabst have gone full pelt in their latest single, ‘Skyline’.

Built with heavy anthemic lyrics, roaring guitars are the backbone of the track, sailing below thrashing drums and power-driven vocals. ‘Skyline’ points towards the gentrification of the band’s hometown, juxtaposing issues of homelessness with money spent on the city – “If this is the end / I hope the money was well spent”.

The single has been released ahead of the groups’ new album, ‘Deuce ex Machina’, set to be released in June.
