Track of the Month this April is the brilliant ‘Exoskeleton’ by VANT. Mattie Vant is going from strength to strength in both songwriting and production. From the hip-hop influences of ‘Thank Lucifer’ to the heavily politically fuelled ‘Propaganda Machine’, Vant has shown his ability to merge genres, unafraid to mix elements of rock and EDM, creating an exciting sound which seems to translate perfectly into a live show.
His latest release, ‘Exoskeleton’ takes a more subdued approach; showcasing Vant’s vocals at his full potential, it’s one of the best releases yet – 2019 is looking set to be a huge year for VANT. The band are currently on a headline tour across the UK, and are also due to perform at numerous festivals across this Summer. A second album is very, very much needed.
