Indie-pop king Mac Demarco has just announced a brand new album, and released further tour dates.
The album, ‘Here Comes The Cowboy’ is set to be released on May 10th, and is the debut record on Mac’s Record Label.
Demarco also shared the lead single ‘Nobody’, along with it’s self-directed music video.
The album was written, tracked, and mixed at DeMarco’s Jizz Jazz Studios in Los Angeles during January 2019. Discussing the record, the singer said:
“This one is my cowboy record. Cowboy is a term of endearment to me. I use it often when referring to people in my life. Where I grew up there are many people that sincerely wear cowboy hats and do cowboy activities. These aren’t the people I’m referring to.”
