Taking influences from artists such as Car Seat Headrest, Jeff Rosenstock, Mitski, Modern Baseball, Vampire Weekend, Frankie Cosmos, MGMT, and Smith Westerns, The Trust Fund Kids’ sounds is characterised by head-banging riffs and shout-along lyrics – anthemic tunes destined to be played live.
The feel-good effervescence of Kevin Connor’s music is infectious – there’s no doubt his debut LP could easily become one of the best releases this year.
