After announcing an ‘indefinite hiatus’ at the end of 2017, it seemed like London rockers VANT had left the indie-punk-rock scene forever…
However, it’s safe to say they have leapt back into action, bursting back onto the scene with two brand new tracks ‘Propaganda Machine’ and their latest, ‘Thank Lucifer.’ Heavier, yet equally somewhat subdued, chant-esque punk anthems with almost hip-hop influences and politically charged lyrics – VANT’s slight change in style is sounding better than ever.
Onto their previous work – the vibrant indie melodies of ‘Peace and Love’, ‘Parking Lot’ and ‘Karma Seeker’ ooze Summer festival goodness. ‘Talk Like Thunder’, released on the band’s previous EP, is one of their best, showcasing the progression in the musical journey the quartet have been on since 2014.
The band have previously supported Royal Blood, toured with DIY Magazine, and played major UK festivals such as Reading + Leeds and Glastonbury. One thing for sure, VANT will rocket sky high with their sophomore album, seeing them take to even bigger stages, and gaining worldwide recognition.
